Alexis Malone
Psychology Intern
As an advocate for self-exploration and expression, my approach to therapy is creating a safe space that is full of non-judgement, compassion, inclusivity, and is client-centered. As a resource of guidance and support as you emerge into the journey of self-healing and development, I utilize a strength based, cognitive-behavioral lens to help alleviate the effects of childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, and other life stressors that may be impacting your ability to thrive. I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, and the autism population, but overall I enjoy working with those from all walks of life. In my free time I enjoy spending quality time with my family and engaging in self-care practices to spend quality time with myself.
I believe therapy is a key to unlocking doors of self-healing and improvement -- let's unlock those doors together.
I am currently unlicensed and am working under the direct supervision of Dixie Hu, Ph.D.
