We are currently only accepting new Adult ADHD or ASD Testing clients at this time. We also have some very limited availability for new ongoing therapy clients for Tim Graham, Dixie Hu, and Jarret Holley for clients who have Cigna or United insurances (currently scheduling 2 weeks to a month+ out). All of our other clinicians are currently full, and we are not adding new clients to the waitlist at this time.
We are pleased to announce that we are accepting clients for Adult ADHD Testing! If interested in testing, it is essential that you read and understand all of the following information:
At this time, we are only able to test individuals who are 18 years old or older.
Please do not start this process unless you are able to afford an anticipated cost between $600 and $1500 (or know your insurance benefits for testing already). We do accept most insurances, which does help. Unfortunately, many insurances do not cover all of the testing process, and this is the most common result when we contact your insurance regarding your benefits (which we will try and do before scheduling your first session). This is an extensive process that requires a lot of time from highly trained individuals, so we like to try and warn clients what they are getting into before starting the process.
You MUST pay your estimated financial obligation up front before attending the first testing appointment. The ADHD testing process will be 3 total sessions. You will meet with a clinician (approximately 1 hour) for a Clinical Interview to assess your symptoms, with a psychometrician (approximately 2.5-3 hours) for formal psychological testing, and finally with the initial clinician (approximately 1 hour) for a formal feedback session. Only the meeting with the psychometrician will be in person at our 30 W Woodruff Ave location; both other appointments occur through the internet. At the conclusion of the testing process, you will receive a formal testing report documenting your diagnoses and containing recommendations for next steps (which may include recommendations for medications or accommodations if appropriate).
If you are interested in testing, please complete this form. We will use this information to verify your insurance benefits, to give you an out of pocket cost estimate prior to the start of testing. At this time, we are working with a number of insurance providers to accept a range of insurance carriers and plans. Due to billing issues, we are not able to accept new CareSource Clients for testing at this time. Once we have verified your benefits, we will reach out to inform you of the results and schedule your sessions. We will follow-up with our electronic information packet, which will include several self-report measures, which MUST be completed at least one week prior to your first testing appointment.
Testing individuals for ADHD and ASD, it is no surprise that many people struggle to complete their paperwork on time. We get it, but to be fair to others waiting to be tested we need to have your paperwork completed in a timely manner. If ALL paperwork in the electronic information packet is not completed at least one week prior to the appointment, your appointment will be cancelled and you will have to reschedule. Additionally, if you do not attend any of the appointments without at least 48 hours notice of cancellation, you will be subjected to the no-show/late cancellation fee. Lastly, in order to complete the formal psychological testing appointment with the psychometrician (i.e., the 2.5-3 hour appointment) you MUST abstain from marijuana use for one week prior to the appointment and from caffeine on the day of the appointment. Please feel free to follow-up with any additional questions or concerns.
