New Clients
We have a limited availability for new ongoing therapy clients (currently scheduling 2 weeks to a month+ out). To get scheduled with a clinician, please schedule an online “Introductory Administrative Conversation” with our Therapy Coordinator. This is a 15- minute online video appointment (see link at the bottom of the page).
During this meeting we will review your insurance benefits (previously verified), answer questions you may have about our programs, and help you get scheduled. Be ready to provide a picture of your insurance card (front and back), your name, and birthday when booking this appointment.
You will get a confirmation email* from Intake Q (a HIPAA compliant video service) within 24-hours after making this appointment.
*Please note that the confirmation email for this appointment will come from Intake Q and may show up in other folders within your email, including the Junk Mail folder.

What is Individual Therapy?
With individual therapy, you and the therapist will be able to work one on one in an open and non-judgmental environment. In these sessions we encourage clients to speak openly, so we can help you reach your goals. We treat a range of disorders–with special focus on Gender, Multicultural Competence, OCD, Panic Disorder, ADHD, ASD, Depression, and Anxiety. The goal of individual therapy is to provide a safe and beneficial environment that helps you overcome obstacles that may be hindering your well-being. Therapy sessions can help you feel positive and boost self-esteem, compassion, and daily living.
What can I expect?
In the first individual therapy session you can expect it to be an introduction between you and your therapist. This session will allow you to determine if you and the therapist are a good fit together and if you would like to continue seeing the same person. As an introduction session, you can expect to discuss some of the general problems you are experiencing and what may be contributing to the way you are feeling.
Going forward, you can expect these sessions to be an outlet for your emotions and work with a trained professional to help you manage and conquer some of the things that may be causing you trouble in life. Many people find just being able to talk to someone about what they’re going through and putting their emotions into words extremely beneficial. During these sessions you can expect to learn new skills to help you deal with emotions or any other psychological stresses in life.
How long does treatment last?
Most therapy sessions will last between 45-60 minutes and the frequency of sessions varies between clients. Some clients may wish to have therapy sessions once or twice a week while others may want to have sessions once every other week or once a month. This decision is made between you and your therapist and can be adjusted at any time. Likely after your first therapy session your therapist will make recommendations based on how often you should go to a session. These recommendations come after considering how much distress these issues may be causing in your life, the severity of your current state of mind, how much these issues are affecting your everyday life or prohibiting you from living life the way you wish, and what you are able to afford financially.
